Psychology in Game Design

This course focuses on applying psychological theories and concepts to game
design. This is a seminar style course with weekly readings from psychology
literature and in-class discussions for applying these readings to game
design.

Course Objectives
Have an understanding of some psychological theories and concepts that are relevant to game design Be able to analyze the games using these theories Develop skills to apply psychological theories for better game designs and user experience Become aware of academic research possibilities Realize how these concepts are also related to your personal life, and discover more about yourself and others
